During the last semester of my studies I had to do an internship. We got to choose whatever company we wanted as long as it was in the field of mediatechnology and design. I always knew that i wanted to get an insight into a filmproduction so i applied at a few companies in Germany. After some days i got accepted at the company Naumann Film, which is located in Munich. I was very excited for the city but also because of the fact, that it isnt very far from Austria, which made moving there easier.
During my time at this company I learned a lot about every step in film production. From location scouting and organising the equipment, over lighting and camera setup during a shoot, to editing and postprocessing the footage to deliver an emotional and impactful film for the client. I really enjoyed working with my colleagues and learning from other employees experiences. I even shot a short movie with some colleagues outside of work.
The three months of my internship were over quite quickly again but besides that i also enjoyed exploring the city. I often took my camera with me and captured some famous places.

Those were only some impressions. To see more consider checking out the portfolio post of Munich.
I was so impressed by this interesting city that in my last month there I decided to make a hyperlapse movie about Munich. I drove around a lot with the U-Bahn to shoot timelapses and hyperlapses at Munichs most iconic spots and edited them together in a ‘flowmotion’ style video. It took several dozens of hours of editing and hundreds of gigabytes of diskspace to complete this project. In the end there was a movie I am still proud of to this day and an artpiece that reminds me of those wonderful three months in Munich.
